After gaining a bit of time to enjoy myself, I started drawing. This time I was in a complete relaxation mood and I think this served my ‘muse’ well, while letting my imagination flow.
How it started
I literally my drawing, in my notebook, from a ‘blob’ literally. A ‘blob’ that became the face of my character. It didn’t take long for me to finish the sketch and give a good smile towards this new creature I’ve created. I let her alone for a while, just her, in pure black and white.
It took me a few days to go back to it and paint it. I am playing with watercolour now, more precisely digital watercolouring. Soon my new material will arrive and I will have further fun doing all on paper too! The creature, which I still haven’t given a name, received some colours using Procreate. I then had a sudden realisation about the character. Can you guess? 🙂 She received a place as well and once I completed the drawing fully, another story came to my mind! And again, as I don’t get tired of saying it, it amazes me how the brain invokes thoughts in seconds after being stimulated.

A story from my imagination
My sudden realisation I mentioned above was that this character could be me?!!! But why?!!! My wild hair, even though being well looked after? Or what? Maybe its me after the Eowyn storm!
However, once a place was created for this creature, not me anymore, other thoughts invaded my mind. She is a humanoid, but not part of any of our species in planet earth! She is just a curious humanoid that descended on earth, and was shocked with the current state of such planet that once was considered a wonderful place to live!
I really hope she stays here and with her pals, she does something with an entrepreneur that is thinking of taking humans to Mars, as she wouldn’t like to see another planet destroyed.
Isn’t imagination wonderful??!! More to come!
