Easter eggs in watercolour

On Holy Saturday I started letting my mind direct me freely towards my art and I decided that for this year, my Easter eggs would be done in watercolour.

I wanted my eggs to be covered in chocolate;-) and to have some flowers to represent spring, new life.

Illustration process

The digital illustration was done using Procreate this time. As usual each element had its own layer. Starting loosely from the bottom and getting detailed at the top.

The base layer containing the eggs was set in Normal blend, selected and covered in white. All the following layers were clipped to it and set to Multiply blend.
