Back in time

A long ago, I visited Glasgow Transport Museum and in a part of it, they have set a scene that makes you feel you are back in time. A scene on the cobbled streets where carriages with horses were present with old shops like butchers and bakers.

Going through my photo archive I bumped into it and I decided to do a loose painting of it, not sticking too much into details and letting me play a bit. I created some ghosts and disappeared with some people. The purple tint gives a sense of magic, while the green-yellow gives a sense of mystery. Does it remind you of Dr. Who? A change in time zones?
