I have a tiny Scottish sculpture I’ve bought when I first arrived in Scotland. It has a green stone in the middle as a luck charm for wealthiness. 🙂 Going along the 100 day project, I decided to have a goal and illustrating it. I quite had fun doing it.
When I illustrated this wee fellow, I was starting to get used with Adobe Fresco. The sketch was done in the program, using vector brushes. The colour fillings and textures were done in Photoshop in several separate layers.
For the shadows and highlights I use a large soft brush, 50% opacity and in multiply and overlay modes respectively.
Here I present the front facing of this Scottish fellow. Can you imagine where his right hand is? I will show you later when I create the same man facing backwards!
