Lines and curves

I’ve created this a while ago, for my 27th day of The 100 day project. From free doodling on a paper, tracing lines and curves, this creature surfaced 🙂 Who would you think he/she is? A court jester, a Mardi Gras attendee?

I still find amazing how our brain works…I set in the sofa thinking I had to come up with something for the challenge. I got the paper, doodled for a second what turned to be the head apparatus. As soon as I finished it I saw the negative space in the middle where I immediately thought of a face fitting in there :-). 2 minutes done…then it was time to paint it 🙂

My advice if you are stuck for ideas? Always doodle. Let your brain free! This will fuel your imagination!
